For a Father close to Father's day - take it easy old man. I hope your crazy head and heart find a home one day. The world's a tough place - shameful you couldn't figure it out - this is my testament to your legacy.
Dirt is everywhere. It's on my shoes and in my hair. It's on the back of all my records. It's on my couches and in my sleep. This dirt can't be cleaned because it's who I am. It's the DNA of my spine. It's the urine and spit of my extent.
There is no dirt relief. There is no dirt doctor. There is only cleaner mud versions of the dirt.
It makes my back ache. It makes my hair fade. It makes me drink and it puts dark circles under my eyes. It has a make-up quality that only the ragged like.
Muck. Mud. Filth. Sick. Dust.
The smell of my baseball glove. The taste of dry days. The hard wood floors. The basement corners. Bike riding. Dirt.
Dirt. It's everywhere. I hate it. Link posted by JVMM : 6:04 PM
