Seeing Smiles
This isn’t a poem or prose
As much as it is a chronicaling
Of the greatest thing I may have ever
Seen
All there of them
Rushed to the water
My son rooted on the little daughter
My oldest held her when she fell
The youngest ran in first
The other two watched her
Cheered for her
They swam
Together
As a team
They didn’t argue
They were together
As one
Strength and love
And all the sudden
My life had enough meaning
To last 100 lifetimes
