While the City Paper tends to err on the side of weird as opposed to grounded good... I still respect them for promoting smart artists instead of half-assed wanna be bands from the county.

Manana - Soccer Game of the Decade

First of all - I'd like to say how awesome it is going to be to be in France for the Euro Championship this year. MWA -

Second - tom. Wed. The 21st. At 2:30. EST. In Russia. A battle like no other will take place. The two most hated AND loved teams on earht will duke it out for the most prestigous trophy in club soccer. Chelsea and Manchester United will get it on.

Big Brown

Overall a really great day at Preakness. Big hats and Black Eyed Susan's - Family and friends and an annoying gay man who called me "fierce". Rock it. Life on the non-filthy side of the fence was great...



In 3 weeks...you'll want to tune in.. because for the first time in 30 years you'll be seeing a horse win the triple crown. I think Pimlico may have some people there... I know will be...

Best horse I have ever seen in person. You can just smell greatness.

Derby Day

At some point there was a 500$ wager made for the first man to 195. Take it.

A Maryland horsed paying out 6.20 in the Derby. I will definitely be at Preakness in one way or another to see if he can double. I mean... he won from the parking lot after the jockey was so wide he had to grab a mint julep from the crowd.
