Debate Round 3
Hey McCain camp... if you are going to tell your fighter something along the lines of.. "This is the last round Rocky... you gotta knock him out to win..." You probably want to arm him with something better than "Plumber Joe" and "You're a terrorist".
McCain came off looking like a haymaker throwing wino instead of a presidential candidate. While I still feel his platform benefits America more than the Democratic one... I can't in good conscious cast my vote for that man or his proposed administration.
However, I still hope he wins.
I don't think any of you have any idea how much America will suffer if a Democrat is elected. In this current state - layoffs and unemployment are going to be so huge that I just started feeling it yesterday as my company laid off 15% of it's people. The lives of the poor will not improve and the large corporations and small businesses that create jobs will get out of the market and out of the country because of his absurd tax hikes. The Rooney's of Pittsburgh are already looking to sell the Steelers after owning them for 8 billion years because they fear the capital gains tax that MUCH!
Best line of the night belonged to McCain though "The last time America faced this kind of crisis and elected a Democrat, it was Herbert Hoover and then followed the great depression."
And by the way America - - a tax cut does not mean a tax rebate. I actually talked to someone yesterday at the bar that thought if Obama won that they would get a check. Unreal.
That was definitely the best debate but... it was a last minute ditch for McCain to show passion and Obama just looked like he was playing the prevent defense in a 24-7 game in the 4th quarter. I do have to say that Obama's answers seem less rehearsed and I swear to God that every piece of my body hopes that the 1% of him that is for real... will actually come to fruition when he takes office. I'll be at the inauguration... I think many people should go. It would be a great day for America on many fronts but mostly because - as a person - he is the brightest light of hope I have seen come out of Washington in my lifetime.
