"90% of the jobs will be in the private sector"
"Raising taxes for those making over 250k... helping small business"
Two unbelievably contradictory statements. If he wasn't such a rock star of a President that precession would have had their way with him... it seems at this point he can do no wrong.
I have to admit - for such a... lefty sorta speech I was pretty engaged all the way up to the point when he made it more of a pep rally. Most people in America, unfortunately for President Obama, have no interest, no knowledge, no desire to be engaged in, or any interest in helping the current financial crisis - they just want it fixed. And hence - are part of the problem.
The people he will be depending on most - that top 2% - actually undertstand the crisis, pay their bills, create jobs, already pay close to 70% in tax and will now be f'd again because homeowners didn't own a calculator and of course everyone needs 20 inch rims and a shopping spree to Banana Republic.
I hope it works.
Good luck America.
