On Bad Days
You're going to have bad days. There are two ways to handle them.
1. You can be outwardly terrible to everyone you meet. Everything can bother you. You can snap at people. You can basically go through your entire day as though the world was trying to hurt you. You can run around with a sour look on your face - thus making everyone else look at you with a sour look. You'll find that all that you touch turns to mud. And all that touches you is nothing. Or...
2. You can take personal stock in your life. Realize you only get one life. You only get one family and one chance to do the best with it you can. The world is difficult. Things are stressful. You will be screwed over many times in your life but don't be someone who blames their failures on others. Those people will always lose at life. Take personal stock. Be happier and more content with what you have and your own abilities rather than coveting and envying something else. I'm not saying to throw away goals or not strive - but take time to take pleasure in simple things. Don't always be thinking about what you want or what you were denied.
Life is too short to have too many bad days. Don't be a victim of your own decisions. Live your life with joy and happiness. The reason I know this - is because the people that I like best in the world - live their life like this. Be one of those people.
